Ranch is one of the most popular flavor’s out there because it has a little zing that sort of excited the taste buds. In this recipe, ranch seasoning punches up the flavor of plain rice. Just like my Instant Pot White Rice, this recipe is basically foolproof, as it doesn’t call for stirring, covering or even keeping a watchful eye. Here’s how I make Instant Pot Ranch Rice.

Instructions

Pour the water and oil into the Instant Pot.

Measure the rice and then rinse it out in the sink using a fine strainer.

Add the rice into the pot.

Set the Intant Pot to cook on manual high pressure for 4 minutes. (Set to cook for only 3 minutes if you like a very firm, al dente texture for your rice.)

Once the cooking cycle has finished, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes.

Move rice to a bowl.

Add the sour cream and the ranch mix and combine thoroughly.

Serve immediately.

I've never had a rice like this before. Sounds like a really interesting recipe. I don't think I've ever bought ranch seasoning either. I'll have to make this, I bet the kids would like it!

That sounds like a great dish. My sis got one of these for Christmas as she has us all on a hunt for recipes she can try.

Rice is a staple dish in our homes. We usually eat rice with curry and vegetables. But this looks something novel. Would like to try this out.
