Cinnabon Cream Of Wheat Box

Cream Of Wheat has been around for a very long time. Recently they announced a new flavor, Cinnabon. I love Cinnabon so I was very curious to try out the new breakfast cereal.

About Cream Of Wheat Cinnabon

B&G Foods, Inc. introduces Cream of Wheat® Cinnabon® instant hot cereal, the newest addition to Cream of Wheat’s expanding roster of premium instant hot cereals. Cream of Wheat® Cinnabon® instant hot cereal offers consumers the convenience and nutrition they seek, along with the unmistakable crave appeal and aroma of Cinnabon’s legendary cinnamon rolls. Although it tastes “cinn-fully” delicious, each serving packet has only 100 calories, 0 grams of fat and is an excellent source of Vitamin D, Calcium and Iron.

“We are pleased to unveil this new offering from Cream of Wheat, which combines the smooth, creamy taste and excellent source of nutrition found in all Cream of Wheat hot cereal varieties with the signature flavor of Cinnabon’s famous cinnamon rolls,” stated Jordan Greenberg, Vice President of Marketing at B&G Foods. “The product extension offers individuals and fans of both brands an indulgent meal option to get them excited about breakfast again.”
Each box of Cream of Wheat® Cinnabon® instant hot cereal includes ten 35g instant packets. Cream of Wheat® Cinnabon® instant hot cereal is currently available in the cereal aisle of select grocery stores.

OUR THOUGHTS

I received a box of Cream Of Wheat Cinnabon. It’s super easy to make, just mix it with a half of a cup of hot water or milk. I tried it with both milk and water and found the taste to be a little richer and creamier with the milk. I found that I liked it better a little thinner, a consistency obtained by mixing with a little less than 3/4 of a cup of milk. The smell is heavenly, I love the scent of cinnamon. It’s a hot and easy breakfast, great for eating at home or at work. One box of Cream Of Wheat Cinnabon contains 10 packets and sells for approximately $2.99 in my area.

Cream Of Wheat Cinnabon is available in grocery stores nationwide, in the cereal aisle. A $1.00 coupon is available at the Cream Of Wheat Cinnabon site. The site is also currently offering a contest for an 3G Apple iPad and iTunes gift cards.

I was raised in the before pre-sweetened cereal (hot or cold) days by a sugarless mama. It still tastes strange to me.

I had never heard of this flavor before, by Cream of Wheat, until now. But it sounds really good though. Thanks for the heads-up Valerie. I’ll have to check it out for myself.

It’s pretty new Ron so it may not be in stores in your area yet.
