My house is well over 40 years old. I’d love to totally renovate but simply cannot afford to. So, I try to make upgrades and improvements as I can where they make sense. The room I’d love most to make changes to is the kitchen. If you’ve ever made or contemplated making upgrades to your kitchen, you probably know how challenging it can be to find everything you want. Hubby and I have had date nights where we just visit a local big box home improvement store and dream. Visit two stores and you know that they often have totally different colors, varieties and brands than the other, as well as other items that you have to special order. For me, the simplest way to make upgrades would be to start by being able to see all of the possibilities in one place. PlumbTile makes this possible.

PlumbTile is an online retailer offering a great variety of products for upgrading bathrooms and kitchens. From accessories to porcelanosa tile to zucchetti faucets and everything in between, PlumbTile’s huge selection makes it easy for you to find inspiration and product selection all in one place.

Looking to update your bathroom? This one stop shop offers faucets, basins, sinks, mirrors, medicine cabinets, toilets, bidets, tubs and whirlpools, long with all sorts of other accessories including lighting. And lest I forget to mention, you probably noticed that the second half of the name PlumbTile is tile. Yes, they’ve got tile too – bath and kitchen tile including stone, ceramic and glass!

Not looking to update your bathroom? Maybe you’d like to refresh your kitchen like me. There are many things you can do to help bring a kitchen up to date. PlumbTile carries everything you need to update a kitchen except the appliances. Besides the huge selection of decorative stone, glass and ceramic tile that I enjoyed browsing, they also carry many accessories, as well as faucets, garbage disposals, and sinks.Changing knobs or pull handles is a really quick way to change the look of any room. In the past twenty years I’ve changed mine three times, if I recall correctly. I’ve gone from dark almost black metal to plain brass, and then from plain brass to brass with an ivory insert. I’ve been thinking about changing them again but have held off in case I can figure out a way to afford changing the countertop.

Short of replacing the cabinets, changing your countertop and or floor is a surefire way to refresh your kitchen and give it a whole new look. Personally, I would love to replace my formica counter with granite or tiles. The formica extends to the backsplash, so I’d want to change that too. For the backsplash I’d like to have a few different colors, and found a couple that I really liked including the one shown above. I thought I wanted large floor tiles in the kitchen until I found the design shown just above that mixes different sizes of tiles.I can envision my kitchen redone combining the designs shown above. With my black and stainless appliances I think it would all pull together nicely, don’t you agree?

We have been trying to decide if we update the kitchen or the bathroom first. Might have to flip a coin. I love our tile floor in our kitchen.

We did a backsplash under our kitchen cabinets. It made such a difference. It's a tedious process, but worth it in the end.
