Homemade Ninja Salisbury Steak Recipe For The Ninja Cooking System

If you’ve been here recently you know I’ve been carrying on about my new kitchen appliance. If you somehow missed it, check out my Ninja Kitchen 3-in-1 Cooking System review. I’m so thrilled with it that I’m sharing a few of the recipes I’ve made with it so far. You may have already seen my recipe for Easy One-Pot Monterey Chicken And Potatoes. Now it’s time for another recipe, this one from last night’s salisbury steak dinner.

This recipe was inspired by Cooking With Anne. I met Anne a few years ago at an event in Philly and found her to be a wonderful person. If you’ve ever read her blog (and if you haven’t then you should) then you know that Anne could probably find a way to make dirt taste good. On a budget. From scratch. She not only cooks, she is a cook, you know the kind that went to school for it. The real deal.

Anyway. One dish I have always enjoyed but have never been able to successfully make is salisbury steak. Recently I drooled over Anne’s recipe for homemade salisbury steak. I decided I’d give it a go, yet again, this time basing my recipe upon hers. The biggest changes I made were how it was cooked. Rather then use stove and oven I used only a Ninja Kitchen 3-in-1 Cooking System, which also cut the amount of time quite a bit. The salisbury steaks were perfect! My gravy was a bit weak, as I expected it would be and predicted as much to Anne. Nevertheless, this dish was a hit and we will be having it again. Here’s how I made Ninja Salisbury Steak.

Serve immediately with your favorite side. It would absolutely go better with potatoes then with mac and cheese. Alas, I was out of potatoes.

I’m not much into any beef but hubby loves the stuff. was the gravy store bought? Homemade gravy begins with meat drippings, flour, water and the rest meaning seasoning up to the chef’s taste.
