I’m continuing my love affair with my new kitchen appliance. If you’ve still managed to miss what I’m referring to, check out my Ninja Kitchen 3-in-1 Cooking System review. So far I’ve shared recipes for Easy One-Pot Monterey Chicken And Potatoes and Homemade Salisbury Steak. Last night’s dinner was Cheesy Chicken Broccoli And Cavatelli. Here’s how I made it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenders (chunked)
  • 2X 13oz bags frozen cavatelli
  • 10 oz frozen chopped broccoli
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Using the stovetop high setting, brown chicken, which takes about 10 minutes.

Switch setting to the oven setting and turn it to 350.

Place frozen cavatelli on top of the chicken.

Pour the water over the cavatelli.

Place the frozen broccoli on top of the cavatelli.

Add onion and garlic power and stir well.

Cook for 15-20 minutes, until the cavatelli is almost done.

Place the ricotta on top and stir well.

Place the shredded cheddar on top and stir well.

Continue to cook for approximately another 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted.

Serve immediately, sprinkling some shredded cheddar on top. (Or if you’re like me and put it all in the pan when you were cooking, shred some sliced cheese.)

How much water do you add in this recipe ? Its not in the ingredient list - nor is the amount of water specified in the instructions .
