What happens when you use one of the country’s favorite candies and one of the country’s favorite cookies to make a homemade cookie? Bliss! Actually, you get Soft And Chewy M&M Oreo Cookies! These decadent cookies are soft and chewy, and get all of their delicious chocolate flavor from M&M’s and Oreos instead of typical chocolate chips. Equipment Needed
- stand mixer or hand mixer and large mixing bowl
- measuring cups
- measuring spoons
- large cookie scoop
- cookie sheet
- parchment paper or silpat
- plastic wrap

Nordic Ware Natural Aluminum Baker’s Half Sheet, 2-Pk
Reynolds Kitchens Parchment Baking Sheets, 22 sheets
Ingredients
- 1 stick unsalted butter, room temp.
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt, or to taste
- 3/4 cup M&M’s Minis, plus more for adding to dough mounds
- 3/4 cup Oreo cookies, roughly chopped

Instructions
Place the butter, sugars, egg and vanilla into the bowl of the stand mixer with a paddle attachment or a large mixing bowl.
Beat on medium-high speed until well combined.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
Slowly add the flour, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt to the bowl, and beat on low speed until just combined.
Add 1/2 of the M&M’s minis and the chopped Oreos, and beat on low speed until just combined.
Use a large cookie scoop to roll the dough into balls, flattening them slightly.
Cover the cookie tray with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Preheat oven to 350 f degrees.
Line a baking sheet with a silpat or parchment paper.
Place the dough onto the baking sheet, spaced at least 2 inches apart
Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove the tray and add the remaining M&Ms minis and chopped Oreos to the top of the cookies.
Lightly press in.
Place back in the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes
Remove the cookies from the oven and allow to cool.

I make M & M cookies quite often because the kids (and I) really love them. I've never thought about adding in some oreo cookies. I'm going to have to let the kids help me try this recipe soon.
