Dips are pretty much always popular, particularly when you’re hosting a gathering. If you’re planning a holiday get together this year, or even just a movie night with family, I have a dip for you. It’s a sweet dip, not savory. It’s the kind of dip that you want to dip cookies and fruit in. It’s Dunkaroo Dip.

You remember Dunkaroos, right? They were a popular packaged snack that was introduced back in the 90s. The packages contained a sweet dip and some cookies.

This cookie dip is super easy to make, about as easy as opening a package. There’s no cooking required, just stir and serve. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

Christmas Dunkaroo Dip is perfect for holiday entertaining, snacking, movie night, and game night. You can serve it with homemade cookies or store bought cookies like vanilla wafers and animal crackers. You can also serve it with some fruit, such as strawberries.

This dip goes great with both cookies and fresh fruits like strawberries.

Here’s how to make it.

Equipment Needed

Ingredients

  • 8oz whipped topping
  • 1x 15oz box yellow cake mix
  • 8oz cream cheese
  • Christmas sprinkles
  • green food coloring
  • cookies and/or fruit (for dunking)
