Did you know that you can change up the flavor profile by adding a little rum? It’s just enough to give flavor and doesn’t overpower the chocolate. Dip that into some festive holiday nonpareils and you have a coloful holiday treat perfect for entertaining adults. Chocolate Rum Christmas Truffles
This recipe makes approximately 24 truffles.
Equipment Needed

Ingredients
- 3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1x 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tsp spiced rum
- 1 cup Christmas red, green and white nonpareils

Instructions
Using a double boiler, combine all ingredients except the sprinkles and mix until smooth
Place the truffle mixture into a bowl and place it into the fridge for 3 hours.


Use a small ice cream scoop to scoop out some of the truffle mixture and roll that into a ball.
Pour the sprinkles into a bowl.
Roll the truffle into the sprinkles until it’s fully coated.


Place the truffle onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
Repeat the above steps with the remaining truffles.
Serve and enjoy!
