Over the past two years or so it seems like bacon is appearing in more and more dishes. If you’re a fan of bacon and are looking for some new ways to use it besides just cooking it and placing it on a plate then a cookbook dedicated to bacon such as this one will be right up your alley.

Chapters in this cookbook include:

  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Dinner
  • Sides
  • Sweets

The recipes in this cookbook are all easy to understand. The ingredients are all ones that you have in your house or can easily get at your local grocery store. Cooking time is hidden within the recipe so you have to read to find it. I hope if there is a future edition they are able to note it elsewhere, as it is something I use to determine what I’m cooking and I don’t like to have to read through an entire recipe to know if I have time to make it. There’s lots of tasty sounding recipes in this cookbook, with the Bacon Onion Artisan Bread being the one that particularly jumped out at me. This cookbook would be perfect for anyone who enjoys bacon.

What’s your favorite dish or recipe that has bacon in it?

Ahhh, bacon - how do I love thee?? ♥ My favorite recipe this past year was bacon wrapped water chestnuts, marinated for four hours on low in a crockpot. #divine

You could eliminate the "lovers" from the title. I mean, who doesn't love bacon?!?!

Oh yum. I absolutely love bacon. I love adding it as a topping on salads and soups!

I made bacon just the other night for our "breakfast dinner" and I just don't know why I don't incorporate bacon into more dishes. What a cool cookbook theme.

It's times like this when I see a cookbook totally devoted to bacon that I wish - just for a second - that I could eat pork. I've never had bacon, but it smells divine.
