Toilet Paper Roll Black Cat Halloween Craft
If you know me in person or follow me on Instagram it’s no surprise to you that I love cats. I have cats. I foster cats. I have cat themed decorations in my house. I have a cat tattoo. And today, I have a Halloween craft for you guessed it – a cat. This Toilet Paper Roll Black Cat craft is simple to do and results in a super adorable black cat. You don’t need a ton of supplies to make this, you need an empty toilet paper roll and a few affordable items you probably already have in the house if you have kids. Here’s how to make it.
One empty toilet paper roll makes one black cat. This tutorial can easily be multiplied to make as many cats as you like.
Supplies Needed
- empty toilet paper roll
- black paint
- paintbrushes
- orange paint pen or marker
- craft eyes
- glue
- black pipe cleaner
Instructions
Stand an empty toilet paper roll on its end.
Press the top of roll down in the center of both sides to create two ears, as shown in the photo below.
Paint the toilet paper roll black and then let it dry completely.
Glue two craft eyes onto one side of the toilet paper roll, as shown in the photo below.
Use a paint pen or marker to create a nose, whiskers, and a mouth.
Use the same paint pen or marker to define the two ears.
Use one half of a black pipe cleaner to make a tail.
Attach the tail to the back of the roll with glue.
