I love Taste Of Home. Their magazines are awesome! How can you not love a magazine that’s full of tasty yummy recipes with photos that can make you drool? Recently Taste Of Home launched an exclusive, special edition bookazine celebrating the Fox television series MasterChef.
ABOUT THE TASTE OF HOME MASTERCHEF BOOKAZINE
At 147 pages, the MasterChef bookazine includes more than 60 recipes that are featured on the show. Also included are exclusive interviews with MasterChef judges Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot along with insight from the women who hold the key to their culinary prowess, their mothers! MasterChef Season 1 winner Whitney Miller will share her favorite recipes and her new book, “Modern Hospitality with Southern Charm” along with memorable contestants featured in Season 1 and Season 2, with a special feature highlighting Season 2’s 18 finalists.
MY THOUGHTS
I received a copy of the Taste Of Home MasterChef bookazine. My mouth was watering before I even opened it, the Fresh Berry Tartlet on the cover looks fantastic! I’d never heard of a “profiterole” before but after seeing the picture on page 42 and then seeing that the recipe didn’t look crazy impossible I decided they’d be fun to try. Mozzarella is one of my favorite cheeses and the step by step instructions on how to make it yourself convinced me not only that I could but that I should. I’ve always been a little confused by the differences in some cuts of beef, so I really appreciated the section on how to make the perfect steak. There’s even a section on how to make your own ravioli, which is one of my favorite pastas. The recipes are all easy to understand. There’s lots of recipes in here that I’m looking forward to trying, especially Steak Frites, Chicken and Dumplings, Chicken Rollatini and Peach Streusel Pie. The magazine also has lots of great interviews, articles and information on the judges and contestants. If you’re a fan of the show or into trying new recipes, you’ll definitely want to grab this bookazine before it disappears from the shelves.
The special edition bookazine was published earlier this month and is being distributed in major grocery and mass retail stores nationwide. The second season of MasterChef airs Monday and Tuesday nights on FOX.

I have not seen this bookazine yet in my stores here in California. Well, at least it is not in the checkout lanes. I am going to go see if I can find it, but the hubby won't let me buy anymore recipes books or magazines. The most I can do is look and see if there is a recipe that catches my eye, then try to find it online. Thanks for the review. It does make me hungry too.

What frustrates me about most cookbooks is that they feature the NOW recipesbut are often short on the classic staples.
