Recently I was offered the opportunity to try Neuro Wellness Drinks, beverages created by a mother who felt that mothers take care of everyone else but themselves.

ABOUT NEURO

Diana Jenkins, with the help of a team of nutritionists, developed the Neuro collection of 24-7 wellness drinks. The drinks are designed to enhance and support healthy and active lifestyles. The collection includes NeuroSun, NeuroSleep, NeuroTrim, NeuroGasm, NeuroAqua, NeuroBliss, NeuroSport and NeuroSonic – all individually provide targeted benefits to help people stay well.

Diana created the line to support her healthy lifestyle after having a bad experience with a well-known energy drink. Her number one goal was to create a beverage that tasted good and promote well-being, as well as contain no artificial flavors or colors. Her closest friends (including Brooke Burke, Cindy Crawford and Elton John) all love the line and the brand has experienced explosive growth since entering the market 18-months ago.

MY THOUGHTS

Neuro is available in eight varieties.

Lightly Carbonated

• NeuroBliss – Contains the amino acid L-Theanine, designed to promote happiness and eliminate stress without affecting your energy levels.
• NeuroGasm – Contains B vitamins and amino acids, designed to promote better sexual health.
• NeuroSonic – Contains B vitamins, designed to increase high level mental functioning.

Non Carbonated

• NeuroAqua – Contains water from the Californian Adobe Springs – thought by many to be the world’s purest source of water. What makes this water different than others on the market is its naturally high levels of magnesium and calcium.
• NeuroSleep – Contains melatonin and magnesium, designed to promote restful sleep and improve overall sleep quality.
• NeuroSport – Contains 5 key electrolytes and 12 minerals, designed to replenish the body during and after exercise with the unparalleled combination of 12 minerals and 5 electrolytes.
• NeuroSun – Contains Vitamin D, provides all the benefits of Vitamin D without the harmful UV rays of the sun.

I received samples of several of the Neuro beverages including Bliss, Gasm, Sleep, Sonic, Sport and Sun. The first thing that got my attention was the bottles – they’re very nice looking. These beverages are not your typical sports drinks or flavored waters, which is sort of what threw me when I opened each one. The drinks are hard to describe flavor wise, as they don’t have any specific flavor that stands out like typical sports drinks do. The sun had the most memorable taste, but I can only describe it as a warmish (not temperature) flavor. I enjoyed the non-carbonated varieties the best while RB preferred the carbonated. RB’s favorite was the NeuroSonic. He also tried the NeuroBliss, which he said reminded him of a Fresca-y citrusy type of flavor. We both agreed that the drinks definitely needed to be cold, we did not care for them warm. Neuro Wellness Drinks are available to purchase in select areas and online..
