REVIEW – Dei Fratelli Pizza Sauce

As previously mentioned, we recently got to try some products from Dei Fratelli. One of the products we tried was the pizza sauce.

We used the pizza sauce to make pizza (sounds silly, doesn’t it?). We kept things nice and simple for this pizza, sauce and cheese. We didn’t even add any seasonings because we wante to be able to get a good feel for the taste without lots of other ingredients affecting it.

The sauce wasn’t watery like some pizza sauces, it was a thick, deep red. It was quite tasty and made for an excellent pizza. I liked that the sauce is all natural. I recognized every ingredient in it – Tomatoes, Sea Salt, Sugar, Corn Starch, Dehydrated Onion, Olive Oil, Spices, Dehydrated Garlic, Peppers, Natural Flavors, Vinegar. The taste is a tiny bit sweet and not very acidic. You can see the herbs in it. We were thrilled with it and would definitely buy it in the store.

Dei Fratelli Pizza Sauce Comes in both 8 oz and 15 oz cans and is available to purchase online and in select stores.
