Salisbury Meatballs Recipe For The Ninja Cooking System From Val's Kitchen

One of my favorite recipes for the Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System is my homemade salisbury steak recipe. I love the Ninja and use it often. I recently decided to take the salisbury steak recipe and use it for meatballs. Salisbury meatballs. They were fantastic. Hubby and my oldest really enjoyed them and we will be having them again. Here’s how I made them.

Salisbury Meatballs

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups prepared bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp flour

INSTRUCTIONS

Place the ground beef, bread crumbs, garlic power, onion powder, salt and pepper in a large bowl and mix well.

Form meatballs in whatever size you prefer. The ones I made were on the larger side, and this recipe yielded 24 of them.

Using stovetop mode, place the meatballs into the Ninja and brown both sides, which takes about 6-8 minutes total.

Remove the meatballs from the pan.

Add the beef stock, olive oil, and flour to the pan and whisk together.

Switch to oven mode and set for 375 degrees.

Place the meatballs back into the pan, making sure to cover them with the gravy you created.

Cook for about 18 minutes.

Serve immediately with your favorite side. I highly recommend them over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.

I don’t have the Ninja 3 in 1 cooking system but have seen you posting about it. These meatballs would be great to take to a party.

My middle child is my best in the kitchen. She loves to try new foods and really enjoys the process of cooking. We need to make some of these together. Sound yummy!

Wonder if it would work with fresh onions and garlic. Still learning my Ninja.

My hubby enjoy salisbury steak, but we’ve never had them in meatball form. I’m almost certain he will enjoy these.

mmm, I didn’t eat breakfast and now my stomach is growling. Salisbury steak is such a throw back but tastes soooo good. My kids would eat it this way for sure

Can this be cooked in the Ninja on slow cooker mode? Also would I just cut all the ingredients in half if I want a much smaller batch?

Hi, thanks for reading! I don’t see any reason why this recipe couldn’t be done in slow-cooker mode but I am not certain of what that timing would look like. Regarding ingredients, if I were attempting to half the recipe yes I would cut the ingredients in half.
