This Ninja Salisbury Steak recipe lets you make a classic comfort food easily using only the Ninja Cooking System, making it a one-pot dish.

If you’ve been here recently you know I’ve been carrying on about my new kitchen appliance. If you somehow missed it, check out my Ninja Kitchen 3-in-1 Cooking System review. I’m so thrilled with it that I’m sharing a few of the recipes I’ve made with it so far. You may have already seen my recipe for Easy One-Pot Monterey Chicken And Potatoes. Now it’s time for another recipe, this one from last night’s salisbury steak dinner.
This recipe was inspired by Cooking With Anne. I met Anne a few years ago at an event in Philly and found her to be a wonderful person. If you’ve ever read her blog (and if you haven’t then you should) then you know that Anne could probably find a way to make dirt taste good. On a budget. From scratch. She not only cooks, she is a cook, you know the kind that went to school for it. The real deal.
Anyway. One dish I have always enjoyed but have never been able to successfully make is salisbury steak. Recently I drooled over Anne’s recipe for homemade salisbury steak. I decided I’d give it a go, yet again, this time basing my recipe upon hers. The biggest changes I made were how it was cooked. Rather then use stove and oven I used only a Ninja Kitchen 3-in-1 Cooking System, which also cut the amount of time quite a bit. The salisbury steaks were perfect! My gravy was a bit weak, as I expected it would be and predicted as much to Anne. Nevertheless, this dish was a hit and we will be having it again. Here’s how I made Ninja Salisbury Steak.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups prepared bread crumbs
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 cups beef stock
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp flour
Instructions
Place the ground beef, bread crumbs, garlic power, onion powder, salt, pepper and eggs in a large bowl and mix well.
Form 6 oval patties of equal proportions. (Art never being my strong suit my ovals looks a bit more like misahapen circles.)

Using stovetop mode, place all patties into the pan and brown both sides, which takes about 6-8 minutes total.

Remove the patties from the pan.
Add the beef stock, olive oil, and flour to the pan and whisk together.

Switch to oven mode and set for 375 degrees.
Place the patties in the pan, making sure to cover them with the gravy you created.

Cook for about 18-20 minutes.

Serve immediately with your favorite side. It would absolutely go better with potatoes then with mac and cheese. Alas, I was out of potatoes.
