I have a stroganoff dish that is one of hubby’s favorites. I was going to change it up recently to try something different, but found I didn’t have the ground chicken I’d thought that I had. But, I did have some already cooked chicken breast. I decided to use that instead. Using the chunks of meat instead of a ground meat gave the dish a whole different feel. The final new dish was a total hit with the hubby, which is always nice. We’ll definitely be having this dish again. I used the Ninja 3-on-1 Cooking System so I didn’t heat up the house. Here’s how I made it.

Easy Chicken Stroganoff

Equipment used

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked chicken (I used 18 oz Perdue Short Cuts Rotisserie Seasoned)

  • 2x 10.5 oz cans cream of chicken with herbs condensed soup
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

That Ninja sounds like a marvelous invention! I love that you were able to make this delicious looking dish with ingredients you already had around instead of having to go out and buy more! I love how versatile you are in the kitchen.

We always use beef when we make stroganoff. I will have to try your recipe with chicken too. The Ninja cooking system looks like it will save me a lot of time. I checked the price and it is reasonable enough for busy moms like me to have in the kitchen!
