We always have pasta on hand around here, both boxed and frozen. I often stock up on the frozen cavatelli because you can do lot of things with it. One of those things you can make with it is soup. It brings a whole different texture and flavor to soup as compared to a boxed pasta. Slowcooker Meatball Cavatelli Soup is one of my favorite soups to make that call for cavatelli. Here’s how to make it.
Slowcooker Meatball Cavatelli Soup
Ingredients
- 13 oz bag frozen cavatelli
- 2 lb ground beef
- 3/4 cup potato flakes
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2x 11 oz cans tomato bisque soup (condensed)
- water
Instructions
Combine ground beef, potato flakes, onion powder, garlic powder and pepper and form meatballs.
Place meatballs into Ninja crock.
Pour the 2 cans of tomato bisque soup and 2 cans of water on top of the meatballs.
Set the Ninja to high and cook for 1 hours.
Add the frozen cavatelli.
Cook for 1 hour.
Serve and enjoy.

These sounds like an awesome dish that I will have to make for sure. Anything with meatballs I happen to love and so does my family. Okay I grow up with an Italian gram but I don't know what cavatelli is but if I see the noodles it may be different.

I have always thought cavatelli was Italian. They look like little dumplings or little ears.
