Maple Glazed Pork Chops Recipe

Maple-infused pork chops produce a sweet and savory main dish.

Tip – For the best flavor, use an intense dark beer.
Make Ahead – Prepare marinade up to 1 day in advance. Cover and refrigerate.

SERVES 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced 3
  • 1⁄4 cup pure maple syrup 50 mL
  • 1⁄4 cup dark beer 50 mL
  • 1⁄2 tsp salt 2 mL
  • 1⁄4 tsp freshly ground black pepper 1 mL
  • 8 boneless pork loin chops 8

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a small bowl, stir together garlic, maple syrup, beer, salt and pepper.
2. Place pork in a shallow dish and brush with marinade, coating evenly. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 20 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat contact grill.
3. Spray both sides of contact grill with vegetable cooking spray or oil. Place pork on grill, close lid and grill for 5 to 8 minutes, or until just a hint of pink remains in pork and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

If your contact grill has more than one temperature setting, set it to high for this recipe.
