Raise your hand if you love dessert. You have your hand up, don’t you. I did. I love dessert. Ice cream is a favorite. I’ve always heard many people say that frozen yogurt was just like ice cream. The first time I tried it while I didn’t completely agree, I could see what they were trying to say. There are definite similarities. Well, if you like frozen yogurt, you will love Let’s Yo.

You can see what flavors are available by looking at the different touch screens. There are three flavors in each machine – one on the left, one on the right, and one in the middle that is a combination of the left and right.
Once you decide what flavor of yogurt you want, grab yourself a bowl and go town customizing your dessert with toppings, sauces, syrups and more. The price of your dessert depends on the weight of your bowl. Warning, the variety of things you can add to your yogurt is HUGE! Everywhere you turn you’ll find a different display of even more yummy things then the one before it. Fruits, cookie dough, candies, crunchies, bubble things that pop and dissolve in your mouth that I’d never seen before, the selection was seemingly endless!

Chocolate, nonpareils, pretzels, more fruit, more chocolate, it went on and on!

Like jimmies? Or maybe you call them sprinkles? Doesn’t matter, they’ve got em.

They even have cereals!

Concerned your eyes might be bigger then your stomach and prefer to avoid paying by weight? Get a Let’s Yo Blast. Here you get a 16 or 20 ounce cup, fill it 2/3 of the way with frozen yogurt and then add your toppings. One flat price, no weighing needed.
Maybe you don’t want a bowl of yogurt. Maybe you don’t want a cup.Maybe you want something different you could bring home and serve the family after a nice dinner. Well, you can do that, because they have pie. Frozen yogurt pie. It isn’t any old frozen yogurt pie. It’s custom made! You specify what you want in there. I made a couple, they’re easy to make.
For my first one I chose an Oreo crust. (Does this surprise you? If you’ve been a reader here long it shouldn’t.)

Next you put the frozen yogurt of your choice into the pie. It comes out of the machine just like soft-serve ice cream, by the way. I chose the Moonpie flavor.

Once you have enough frozen yogurt in the pie crust to make a pie you smooth it out.

Then you put your toppings on it. I added graham crackers, Oreos and chocolate syrup.

Obviously, like with everything else, you get better at making pies with practice. This one had cookie dough, chocolate chips, peanut butter and chocolate syrup.

The bright and inviting atmosphere in Let’s Yo makes it a fun place to go enjoy a tasty and healthy dessert, either by yourself or with friends. Presently they have a good number of locations in New Jersey, as well as some locations in Florida, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
Do you have a favorite flavor of frozen yogurt or is there a flavor you’d like to try? Leave a comment!
