I don’t do creative desserts very well. I just usually can’t think that way. Maybe the cookbook Kids’ Treats was made just for me. Or at least people like me.
Chapters include:
- Tips, Tricks And Techniques
- Under The Sea Treats
- Under The Big Top Circus Snacks
- Story Time Snacks
- Spooky Bites
- Picnic Munchies
- Snowball Fight Treats
There are lots and lots of great color photos in this cookbook. Every recipe has multiple photos, to show you what your finished creation will look like (hopefully) and some of the steps you need to take to make it. Prep and cooking time are not listed separately for these recipes. Some of these recipes require many steps and some time for prep, so I understand why they aren’t there. Be safe in knowing that these recipes aren’t the sort you’d generally hope to make within 10 minutes on a whim. The treats are all super cute. So cute I might hesitate before eating one. But only for a moment! This cookbook wouild be perfect for those that enjoy baking and those that do a lot of entertaining for their chidren.
