Recently I mentioned guardianship. That, along with making preparations for a future without me, has been very much on my mind lately. If something were to happen to me, what happens to my family is of great importance to me. That includes considering what could happen financially.
I quit smoking cold turkey over a dozen years ago, for my health. A few years after that I decided to have bariatric surgery. I wanted that tool to help me lose weight so I could be healthier for my children. I know of other people that have done similar things. If we are making decisions to do things to extend our lives such as exercise, we should also be seriously considering preparing for our own deaths so that our family members don’t have further pain as well as a financial burden.
A parent hopes to never have to bury their spouse. Yet the reality is, death is inevitable for all of us. When my husband got his job, we learned a small life insurance policy was included. When I learned that I was relieved in thinking we’d have a little help burying him. Having worked in the medical field for a number of years, it’s safe to say that I, like most people, all wish they had more life insurance. While a little is better than nothing, the polciy through my husband’s job is very, very small and may be complicated to redeem if the day ever comes. It only makes good sense that having multiple life insurance policies will provide greater care in the event of a family tragedy due to sickness or accident. Enter Jenny Life Insurance.
A 2017 USA Today article states that Americans die with an average debt of $62,000. That is a lot of debt. Some of it is almost unavoidable, expenses related to having a family such as child care. Parents paid an average of $15,895 for full-time infant care, according to an article on The Balance. For some parents the spending continues when their children are older and seeking to further their education. A four-year student entering a public college will pay an average of $34,788 in 2020 per year, according to The Balance. In addition to debt, there are other expenses that may be taken into consideration, such as if you’re paying off a mortgage. Rather than leave your family with a pile of bills to deal with in a time of sadness, it’s a better option to start doing your expense planning with Jenny.

I always wondered what happened to debt when someone dies. If you have no assets its almost impossible for the debt to be collected, unless there is a consigner on the debt

It is important to be prepared. I am self employed so I need an option like this.

Having life insurance is so important. I know the plan I had at one of my old jobs didn't come to much.

We have life insurance on me, but not my husband. His policy was way more expensive than mine. We do need to get something for him though.

I applied many years ago and was not happy with the premiums. But now that I am older and things have changed a bit I would like to check it out again
