My oldest graduated high school a few days ago. I won’t get into the details but will say that my oldest son, who is extremely intelligent, hasn’t enjoyed school in quite some time. The tail end of high school hasn’t been a smooth sail and I really wasn’t sure until the day before graduation that he was even going to graduate. Fortunately, he did. I have been flooded with emotions since.
Love.
Relief.
Love.
Hope.
Love.
Worry.
Love.
Concern.
Love.
Nervous.
Love.
Unsure.
Love.
Sad.
Love.
Fear.
Love.
There are many more emotions. Thankfully, the feeling of how much I love this boy outweighs all of the rest.
This portion of the journey as a mother has been quite a ride. I wonder what the next segment will bring.

Congratulations to both of you! My little brother graduated this year and we also didn't know until just a couple of days before if he would in fact graduate. It's not a small achievement, that's for sure!
