The Halloween Happening is a neat idea that can be made as a new tradition for you and your child/children to look forward to each year. Making new traditions as well as new memories are always important to children.
The Halloween Happening is a Halloween tradition all about decoding a special message. Give your pumpkin character a name, he/she then comes to life, and he/she will watch over you to make sure you are a good boy/girl.

Your pumpkin has a special message to give you that he/she will decide on. He/she will determine how long the message is as well as how many days he/she comes out before Halloween. Say your pumpkin friend wants to say “Hey there” (8 letters), then he/she will greet you eight days before Halloween. Possibly the message is “We are pals” (9 letters), then your pumpkin will come out nine days before Halloween.
Your pumpkin friend could make this a tradition lasting a couple of days or weeks or even a month, it will all depend on the letter count of the message. Then each morning your pumpkin will be holding in his hand a number. Write down the number each day and on the morning of Halloween, the last number is given and the decoding begins! A decoding chart is provided for you to unlock your message on Halloween.
This will make the arrival of Halloween exciting and be more than waiting for the candy and costume time.

Your Halloween tradition includes:
- The Halloween Happening hardcover book
- A plush toy pumpkin character
- 26 numbered cards (1-26)
- Decoding chart
It is still early to get The Halloween Happening before its too late on their website.

Traditions must be of universal appeal to take hold. Santa, Rudolph, and Frosty all took lots of time....

This looks adorable and like so much fun. I know my son really likes his elf at Christmas time so I bet he'd love this too.
