I’ve been trying to grill all sorts of things since we got our new bbq grill. I’m learning what is easy to do out there and what’s a pain, as well as what tastes good and what doesn’t. About a week ago I decided I wanted to try my hand at kabobs. I started simple with potatoes. They turned out nice and tender, with a simple taste that could pair well with almost anything. Here’s how I made them.
Grilled Potato Kabobs
INGREDIENTS
- 2 lg potatoes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp seasoning salt (I used Country Bob’s)
- pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat grill.
In a medium sized bowl combine the olive oil and seasoning salt.
Cut potatoes into chunks.
Place potatoes in the olive oil mixture and coat well.
Place the potato chunks onto the skewers.
Sprinkle pepper to taste.
Cook for approximately 15 minutes on indirect heat.
Serve immediately.

I make the exact same recipe in a skillet rather on a BBQ. Super good and low fat!
