Do you like to travel? I do. I love to travel. I don’t get to do it nearly as often as I’d like these days due to all of our schedules, school and everything else we have going on. One of my fondest memories ever was a trip that I took when I was in high school. I was about 13 years old and went on a trip to the United Kingdom. I paid for the trip entirely on my own with money from my paper route. I’m not sure who was prouder about that, me or my parents. Anyway.

That video features the Westminster Bridge in London, Loch Ness and Inverlochy Castle in Scotland, and the Cynghordy Viaduct train ride in Wales. I saw the first two in person. Trust me when I say that seeing the Loch Ness and looking for Nessie (the Loch Ness monster) is an adventure you will never forget. Seeing London, day or night, is just magical. Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament – these are all regal, historical places that you will always remember.

I love the Harry Potter books and movies. Many of us are somewhat familiar with the train ride over the viaduct from the Harry Potter movies. I bet it’d be magical to see in person. And how fun it would be to explore small streets and shops à la Diagon Alley! I have always dreamed of going back to Britain, it’s one of the places I most want to go now as an adult. The idea of traveling somewhere with a different culture where you can “find your storybook” and see all of the things that have caught your eye in movies and on television is so appealing, don’t you think?
