Dunkin Donuts Latte Truffles

Dunkin’ Donuts Latte Truffles

Makes 40-50 pieces

These Truffles make a great gift for any holiday gathering of family and friends. You can choose any Dunkin’ Donuts flavored latte you prefer; we used either the Gingerbread latte or the Peppermint Mocha. You can also use a small Dunkin Hot Chocolate flavor of your choice, instead of a latte, to make your truffles.

Have fun with decorating your truffle; choose any decoration you would like!

Ingredients

  • 1 Small Dunkin Donuts Peppermint Mocha Flavored Latte
  • 1 lb chocolate (semisweet or milk)
  • 1 box graham crackers (crushed)
  • Decorations (Have fun with it! Some ideas):
    o Chopped nuts
    o Powdered sugar
    o Cinnamon
    o Colored decorative sprinkles

Preparation

1. Using a food processor, crush the graham crackers until they are finely crushed.

2. Melt the chocolate in a heat proof bowl, over a double boiler. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted.

3. Add the Peppermint Mocha Latte to the melted chocolate, stir to incorporate.

4. Remove the chocolate mixture from the heat.

5. Add the crushed graham cracker to the chocolate / latte mixture, stir well.

6. Place the truffle mixture into the refrigerator to cool slightly. This allows the mixture to set. It will take approximately 30 minutes.

7. Once the Truffle Mixture has set, using a melon baller or spoon, form the truffles into small bite sized pieces.

8. Roll each truffle in the decorations / coating of your choice.
