Cheddar Beef Pasta Bake Recipe From Val's Kitchen

I love pasta, especially when they’re in a casserole. The texture and flavor of everything all combined in a tasty, hot, melty sauce just makes my belly happy. This pasta bake casserole is very cheesy, courtesy of both the sauce and the shredded cheese. It’s simple to make and very filling. Here’s how I made it.

Cheddar Beef Pasta Bake

  • 1 lb pasta
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 16 oz jar Ragu Double Cheddar pasta sauce
  • 8 oz shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 350 f.

Boil the pasta.

While the pasta is cooking, brown the ground beef.

Drain the pasta and add in the ground beef.

Add in cheese sauce, onion powder, garlic powder and 4 oz of the shredded cheddar and stir well.

Sprinkle the remaining 4 oz of shredded cheddar across the top of the pasta.

I guess it is because I am single but I rarely get past the add all the ingredients stage before I eat something like this all up. I never think to stick it in the oven. One of these day—-I definitely like the sound of this recipe whether it makes it into the oven or not–I will be trying it!!

Not much into bakes and casseroles so I must say green beans, ham and spaetzel.

Remind me of hamburger helper but homemade! I’ve never tried the cheesy ragu sauces, just the tomato ones. This could be a good excuse to get some 😉

This pasta bake looks so easy to make during the week when I am super busy with work and running around with my boys to basketball practices. I can definitely make this for them.
