Air Fryer Cheese Curds are bite sized pieces of cheese, breaded then air fried. This easy snack pairs with your favorite dipping sauce.
Air Fryer Cheese Curds
The first time I had cheese curds I fell in love. For those that don’t know what cheese curds are, they’re basically pieces of curdled milk. Sounds gross but they are so not gross. Whenever my Mom went to Upstate New York in the summer she would pick some up from the farmer’s market for me, if I weren’t there with her. Nowadays, I can occasionally find cheese curds in stores here. They aren’t quite the same as the fresh ones from the farmer’s market but they are enough to make me not miss cheese curds. While I do love to eat cheese curds in the nude, I also love them breaded. Nude cheese curds are great for snacking, while breaded cheese curds have a distinctive appetizer feeling. The toasty breading surrounds the cheese curd, resulting in a warm cheesy snack with a crunch. The air fryer has become my go to for making almost anything that is usually fried, because it’s so much simpler than frying and is quicker and less messy. Here’s how to make Air Fryer Cheese Curds..
This recipe makes 2 – 6 servings, depending on how hungry people are and how much they love cheese.
