Whenever I park my truck I back in to the parking space. I never pull in to a parking space head on, unless I can pull through into an adjoining space and be facing nose out. Why? Many years ago I couldn’t start my car. I didn’t have emergency road service so I had to find a friend that could come and help me. Problem was, when they got there they couldn’t reach the jumper cables from their car to mine. There was a car on each side of me and one in front, and the people weren’t around to move them. We had to wait two hours for one of the three people to finally come out and move so that we could get my car jump started. Since then I only park with the nose of my vehicle facing out. It’s the only way I’d ever teach anyone learning how to drive to park. So, how do you park – head first or rear end first?
