Who likes pie? I like pie. Heck, that’s an understatement. I LOVE pie! Dessert pies are awesome, but possibly my favorite kind of pie of all is pot pie. I love all the warm and yummy stuff in there, it’s so filling and comforting on a cold winter day. I used to get a little intimidated by pot pies until I learned how easy they can be to make. And there are so many different kinds you can make, the sky is the limit basically! In honor of Pi Day, which is March 14th, I’ve created a collection of pot pie recipes on Foodie.

In case you’ve forgotten more of your math then you remember, the site Pi Day explains that Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. I’m not ashamed to admit that whenever I hear the word pie (or pi), I immediately think of yummy food that is round. Pi has been calculated to over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point, which is probably at least how many variations of pie there could be.
