Do you have some takeout menus in your kitchen? Where do you keep them? Are they organized and easy to get to? We keep ours in the takeout menu/potholder/junk drawer, which looks like this.

The drawer tends to get a bit full and frequently the menus slip over the back and down into the cabinet underneath. It never fails, when we want a specific menu we have to work to find it, if we can find it at all. Tatutina makes Take Out Menu Boxes that address this exact problem.

MY THOUGHTS
I received a Retro Phone Open Menu Box. The 9.5″x9.5″x4″ is sturdy and attractive. It’s well painted in black, white and red, and you can even have a hand painted name added to it if you like. The menu box is open at the top so you can easily get to your menus and see what menus are in there without pulling them all out. The menu holder looks like this.

The box can hold a lot of menus, far more than we have.

I loved the box and it worked holding our menus but when cleaning the counter I found an even better use for it. We’ve kept our cooking utensils in an open, round holder for a long time. We’ve gne through a number of them, changing them with decor and with the addition of more utensils. Right now we have so many utensils that they didn’t all fit in the container, so they ended up loose on the counter behind and next to the container. They looked messy that way and were hard to find. As it turns out, the takeout menu box is perfect for holding them! It fits them all. Take a look.

And I think they look good in there too! Plus, it’s a little funny that when you go to reach for a cooking utensil you have to go into a box that tells you to call for takeout. I’m thrilled with the Take Out Menu Box and recommend it. It would be a great gift for a housewarming, someone redecorating, someone trying to organize, someone that eats out a lot, and someone that has a lot of cooking utensils too.
Tatutina Take Out Menu Boxes are available for purchase online. They range in price from $19 to $28.

But it still leaves the menu issue as used.

What a great idea to have a box for all your take-out menus. We don't use take-out foods because we live too far from town, but I have a sister and her family that indulges way too much. This would be a great idea for a Christmas present for her and her family. I will put it on my list as a possibility. Thanks for the review!
