Wordless Wednesday – Gluten-Free Potato Ball Recipe Fail

We'd love it if you shared it!

My Grandma made the most amazing potao balls. Unfortunately we don’t have her recipe. I found a fairly easy recipe that I decided to try, as a dry run for the holidays. I also decided that I wanted to make it gluten-free. This picture is of the uncooked potato balls. It probably wasn’t a good idea to try a new recipe while also trying to adapt it to gluten-free at the same time, because my attempts resulted in a massive recipe fail. I don’t even have a good picture of the disastrous results but let me put it this way. I ended up with a pot of milky looking water that wasn’t even thick enough to call potato soup. Have you ever had a major recipe fail?

So sorry to hear that you don't have your grandmother's recipe for the potato balls. I would have loved to have had my great grandmother's recipe for her cod fish soup. I have heard that it was simply delicious, but my grandmother never got her recipe.

Yes. When you wefre a baby, things were extremely tight. I occasionally bajed back them mostly box mixes. Ibe day I decided to make a cake from scratch. I followed the recipe carefully or so I thought. I was clueless that baking soda and baking powder were not the same. Well, the cake was worse than the wedding cake we often laugh about. Humans refused it. The worst thing was so did the dog.
