This is a cute story about Lyla had how she got lost in the mall because she was chasing her new bouncy ball and then she couldn’t find her mom. Lyla asks another mom to help her, but Lyla didn’t know her moms phone number. So the other mom brings her to the cashier and they announce her mom over the loud speaker. Then Lyla and her mom are reunited. It is nice way to show kids that they should stay with their, but if they do get lost to go and get help. I read this book to E who is four and it made me think about how upset she gets if she turns around and doesn’t see me. We need to have more conversations about phone numbers and what to do if she does get lost. This is a great book for any younger child to help aide in conversations in safety.

Getting lost as a child can be very frightening and even traumatizing. Parents ought to have this conversation with their kids at an early age, and then, develop simple strategies that a child can use to reconnect. I love that an author tackled this scary subject in an easy to read book. Kudos!

This sounds like a great book to teach kids on the things they should do when they get lost. Gotta get this for my twins.

This is such a great book for teaching kids what to do when they get lost in public. Parents should all read it with their young children.

This sounds like it would be the perfect book to start your child on first learning her last name and phone number. Children get really scared when they can't find their parent--this should help them to realize they can get help but not just from anyone!
