What do you do in your bed? Obviously you sleep there, but chances are you do other things there too. No, I’m not talking about THAT! I’m talking about things like watching television, reading, using a laptop, doing puzzles, stuff like that. It’s become the norm. We have a television in our bedroom. If I’m watching something in the living room that hubby doesn’t want to watch, he goes and watches something else in the bedroom. I imagine it’s that way in a lot of houses.
Our bedroom is not a pretty place. We’ve been together for over 26 years and never had a new bed or new mattress, or new bedroom furniture. If I could design my own dream space, I’d replace everything in our bedroom. I’d definitely get an adjustable bed like the one shown above by Leggett & Platt. I saw one at BlogHer and it left quite an impression. I’d most likely go with oak wood furniture. I’d decorate the room in browns, with some blues and greens. We’d have a television on the wall too. The carpet would coordinate. Basically, I’d want a pretty room where the space was comfortable.
