I don’t think children should have soda. I also don’t think they should be having things with chemicals and who knows what in it. They don’t need it. I also don’t think they need tons of super sweet juices. I end up watering most juices down. Kids should be drinking things that are healthier for them. Folks that want to give their children something to drink that isn’t bad for them can consider giving their children Waterlicious.
Waterlicious is a line of naturally flavored children’s water. It contains fiber which is helpful in fighting childhood obesity, as well as Vitamin C and calcium, essential for healthy growth. It also contains vitamins B3, B5, B6 and B12. This group of B vitamins have been identified with the ability to relieve stress and promote a calming effect on children while strengthening their immune systems and other vital organs. What it doesn’t contain is preservatives, artificial sweeteners and high fructose corn syrup. It’s also got only half the sugar that fruit juice does. This is accomplished by using Crystalline Fructose, a slow absorbing natural fruit sugar that doesn’t affect blood sugar levels. At 50 calories per serving it’s got about half as many calories as other children’s drinks and sodas.
Both CJ and I tried Waterlicious in the Soccer Berry flavor. He drank it right down and said “good” and asked for “more”. I found it fruity and flavorful. I like a subtler flavor in my juice and this reminded me of the flavor I get when I water down super sweet juices until I get the taste I like. I feel very comfortable with my son drinking this water.
Waterlicious is available in Soccer Berry, Super Apple, Peach, Lemon, Pineapple, Grape, Watermelon, Cherry and Strawberry Banana flavors. You can purchase Waterlicious online at http://www.waterlicious.com/.
