A while back I mentioned the problem I was having with our neighbor. He doesn’t like anyone parking on the street if any part of the car winds up in front of his house. So, what he does is park that his back bumper basically sits even with the property line between our two houses. This is also directly in front of where one of our vehicles gets parked. He’s got a good 50 feet or more in front of his car before he reaches the other end of his property, and yet he will back all the way up towards us. There have been times I couldn’t even get one vehicle out without moving the other. We’ve physically seen him run out and move his car back a few inches if we leave or move a vehicle. He’s basically a jerk. Want to know how much of a jer ke is? I’ll tell you.
A couple of days ago my husband was in the garage. He came in and told me that the neighbor had hit my car. When hubby went over to look at my car the guy said “it’s no big deal” and pulled away. There was only a scrape on my fender. That in itself is not a huge deal, certainly not something that would warranted me beginning the automobile accident lawsuit process. But it really aggravated me that he couldn’t have cared less. That wasn’t very neighborly, and it just wasn’t right.
A real jerk, right?
