My oldest TJ runs tack. This will be his fourth year. He’s amazing to watch because he’s so fast and so intense. Last year CJ participated in a Special Olympics track program in the next county over. He had a blast and he’s pretty quick too. We decided it was a bit far and wanted to see something come to our area so we’ve started up a program ourselves. I’ve lined up the practice location. I’ve got a friend helping and we’ve started spreading the word and are already getting some nice repsonse. There’s a no corporate logo policy for Special Olympics, so there’s no need to give in to the urge to look at getting a team logo on a cooler or anything. I’m super excited about this.
