When my husband and I started watching this series we were very impressed. Somehow along the way life got busy so we kept recording but didn’t seem to be able to catch up. I was thrilled with the fact that I was able to rewatch the ones we had already seen and continue on with the ones we hadn’t. Talk about impressive!

It seems to me that the CW, in partnership with the WB and the television studios, fully understands DC comics because after completely owning the character Green Arrow, they’ve gone and created a series about another iconic hero from that universe (i.e. The Flash). This character is both true to the source material and possessing all the finesse of the big-screen.

This pilot episode reminded me of Marvel’s, live-action Spiderman films as far as the feel, with an obvious undercurrent of fun (in spite of often tragic events that surround the central character). Based on what I’ve seen so far I’m also very pleased to say that this looks like a series the entire family could watch together and I just gotta say I love a show that makes me laugh and leaves me feeling a little happier afterward. Way to go CW!
