The Art Of Marriage Ops

We'd love it if you shared it!

What’s the greatest cause of divorce today?
Marriage.
Yes that’s actually something many people say to be humorous. But marriage is a serious thing. With statistics being what they are, with something like 50% of marriages failing, marriage should be a serious topic. If people living together have to work and fight to make a marriage work, imagine how much harder it must be for couples where one part of the couple is in the service.
I remember how hard it was for my Mom when my youngest brother was in the service and stationed on the other side of the country in San Diego. She had an even harder time dealing with things when he got deployed. I can only imagine how much harder it is for members of the service that are married. How much they must miss! I remember when my brother was expecting his first child there was talk of inducing labor early so he could be there, as he was due to be at sea on the due date.
Statistics are pretty grim. Divorce within military marriages is up 42% since the year 2001. That’s staggering! And tragic, considering that these folks are willing to give their lives for our country, and for us. The Art Of Marriage Ops was created out of recognition that something needs to be done to help these couples. The Art Of Marriage Ops hopes to help raise awareness about this dire situation, and help the military couples deal with it and hopefully have a successful marriage. Want to help? Start by checking out the widget below for more info. You can also donate $10 by texting OPS to 80888 to help these military couples strengthen their relationships by attending an event showcasing The Art of Marriage! Visit The Art Of Marriage Ops website to learn more.
Helping look out for those that look out for us and our country seems like the right thing to do, don’t you think?
