Well, I didn’t clean the boys bathroom. I cleaned both bathrooms. I also paid the electric bill and the monthly car insurance payment, both by phone. There is one thing left on my to do list for today, renewing my truck’s registration. After that is done I have to take the truck through state inspection before the end of this month. I’m dreading going through inspection because my vehicle is having some problems. As mentioned this past winter, my truck’s heating and cooling system is not working. No heat and no air. The repair is a lengthy one timewise, and too expensive for me to have done in a shop. Unfortunately my Dad can’t handle making the repair himself because it means the entire dashboard and console would have to come out. But that isn’t the real problem. The problem is my check engine light is back on. That’s an automatic fail at the inspection station here. See I have a leak that drips oil into the plugs, which causes a miss and I end up not running on all eight cylinders. It can be temporarily remedied by changing the plugs and cleaning the spaces out. When this happens the truck starts staggering a bit. When it gets really bad I end up missing on two cylinders. This means that even with my lead foot I end up going so slow that I need a push. Hopefully my father will be able to do something when he gets home, because two weeks after that he’s going away again. I’m couchward bound now, because (don’t tell my hubby) I was wrong and I’m hurting more now.
