We love cookies. Recently we had the opportunity to try some cookie gifts from Smiley Cookie.

ABOUT SMILEY COOKIE
It started as a half-baked idea more than 20 years ago — a smiley cookie as the vehicle to communicate the ethos of a restaurant — Eat’n Park, the Place for Smiles. Soon our cookie became not just the signifier of a delightful family dining experience, but a symbol of commitment to community and charitable giving, indeed, the mascot of the company. (Who knew a six-foot walking sugar cookie would have such draw. You have to be cracking a smile by now!)
Today, every child that dines at Eat’n Park receives the surprise of a buttery, rich, delicious smiley cookie, totaling more than 1 million free cookie treats each year. Every day, our cookies are distributed to community, charity and fundraising events. Every year, more than 200,000 smiling cookies are donated to local non-profit organizations. That’s a lot to smile about.
And now, our smile has gotten even bigger with our online cookie delivery company — fresh-baked, hand-iced Smiley Cookies delivered all over the country — fast and fresh. Smiles for miles each and every day!
MY THOUGHTS
I received a box of twelve Smiley Cookies. The box the cookies arrived in was full of smiley faces, colorful and happy.

My son gave the box to his girlfriend, because “it made her happy”.
The cookies themselves were inside a plastic container, and arrived safe and unbroken.

The cookies inside contained the faces that had been on the box.

We found these very large cookies to be fresh. The cookie is sort of a cake style cookie, not too soft and not too hard. They weren’t crumbly or dry at all. The faces are colorful and adorable, and do bring a smile to your face when you pick one up. I don’t know exactly how to describe the flavor, they are a simple cookie that is very cakelike and mellower than a butter cookie. My son TJ enjoyed them very much, partially because of the smileys and partially because he thought they tasted good. I’d love to see some alternate flavors available in the future.
A dozen Smiley Cookies retails for $12.99. Other sizes and styles of smiley cookies are available including flowers, hearts, stars and minis. Cookies can be ordered online at www.smileycookie.com, where you can also create your own Smiley Cookie.
