I love to have heat and eat type foods on hand for those times when we’re in a rush and I need something quick. Recently I was offered the opportunity to try Kidfresh, fresh frozen meals for kids.
ABOUT KIDFRESH
Started by parents for parents, Kidfresh is the first 100% natural, healthy food that kids love to eat! We innovate by putting a twist on the classic kid favorites, like mac-and-cheese with hidden veggies instead of any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.

MY THOUGHTS
Kidfresh Meals are currently available in six varieties:
- Spaghetti Loops Bolognese
- Muy Cheesey Quesadillas
- Wagon Wheel Mac + Cheese
- Totally Twisted Pasta and Meatballs
- No Easy Cheesy Ravioli
- No Rainbow Rice + Chicken
I found the Kidfresh meals in my local ShopRite, selling for $3.99 each. We tried the Spaghetti Loops Bolognese, Wagon Wheel Mac + Cheese, Totally Twisted Pasta and Meatballs, and the No Easy Cheesy Ravioli. My youngest can’t eat these as he requires a gluten-free diet, so I tried them with my teenager and my husband. My teenager snagged the Wagon Wheel Mac & Cheese. He liked it but thought the portions should be larger. I explained that the meals are actually for younger children, not growing teens with a ravenous appetite like him. All three of us tried the Spaghetti Loops Bolognese and the Totally Twisted Pasta And Meatballs. The flavor was on the mild sde but that makes sense since the meals are for younger children. You couldn’t tell that the meals contained up to a half cup of vegetables at all, which is great considering lots of kids resist eating their vegetables. I liked that the meals are are all-natural and contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. If you’re looking for a healthy quick meal to serve when you’re in a hurry or something to keep in the freezer, you should check out Kidfresh.
Kidfresh meals are available now in the frozen aisle at supermarkets in the Northeast, and soon will be nationwide.
