REVIEW – Jose Ole Beef & Cheese Mini Tacos

We'd love it if you shared it!

My son loves tacos. There was a sale on Jose Ole Beef & Cheese Mini Tacos so I bought a package. The package was on sale for $3.99. According to the package one 4 piece serving contains 230 calories and there are about 7 servings in a box. The box I got did have 28 pieces. The ingredients listed are “seasoned ground beef, real cheddar cheese, onions, zesty green chiles and authentic seasonings & spices, all folded in crispy, oven-baked corn tortillas”.

The Beef & Cheese Mini Tacos are very easy to make. It’s recommended that you bake them to retain crunchiness. You only need to bake them for ten minutes. When I took them out of the oven they did smell good. I found that the tacos weren’t all that crisp, they were a little soft/soggy from the oiliness of the inside ingredients. TJ and RB did find them tasty. I’d have liked it a lot better if the taco was crunchy instead of soggy. I’d buy them again for a snack if I had a coupon or if they were on sale.

Jose Ole frozen foods are available at grocery stores nationwide. For more information and to locate a retailer in your area visit www.joseole.com.

Try deep frying them, then putting them on a paper towel to dry. We used to sell something similar at a pizza shop I worked at when I was younger.

I've seen these in the store before but have never tried them, but I bet they taste really good! I'll have to try them out sometime.

We've had these before. I think they're a special hit with tweens and teens!
