When you think of Hershey’s, if you’re like me you probably think of chocolate. but they make other things too. Recently they introduced Ice Breakers Frost and offered me the opportunity to try them out.

Ice Breakers Frost

The Hershey Company invites consumers to embark on a new powerfully cool taste experience with the launch of Ice Breakers Frost™ sugar-free mints. The only mint coated with an intense combination of xylitol, cooling and flavor crystals, new Ice Breakers Frost mints deliver a surprisingly powerful and enjoyable experience. Ice Breakers Frost mints are now available at retail in two intensely cool flavors – Wintercool™ and peppermint.

“Ice Breakers Frost mints are designed for those who are looking for a strong mint, but don’t want to sacrifice taste. The mints feature the same great flavor of our core Ice Breakers mints, which is then frosted with a combination of xylitol, cooling and flavor crystals for a uniquely powerful taste and texture,” said Anna Lingeris, spokeswoman for Ice Breakers Frost mints and The Hershey Company. “The result is a satisfying and powerfully cool taste experience.”

New sugar-free Ice Breakers Frost mints expands on the popular Ice Breakers mints line, first introduced in 1999 and currently available in coolmint, wintergreen, spearmint and cinnamon flavors.

I like to freshen my breath throughout the day, usually with a mint. You know, your breath gets to feeling stale after a while. Plus if you’re at work and you have something to eat or drink sometimes you want to freshen your breath after that. I don’t like mints that are so strong they burn. That’s just not a nice feeling. I found the Wintercool Ice Breakers Frost that I received to have a great flavor – not too weak and not too strong. Just enough that when I took a breath in I felt a coolness. The mint itself lasted a long time, almost 10 minutes. I’ve found them great to keep in my purse, to use during the work day and while out and about in case I run into people I want to talk to. The mints come in a dispensing container that held up well inside my busy, crowded purse.

Ice Breakers Frost mints are now available in 1.2 oz. containers at participating mass, grocery, drug and specialty retailers. For more information on Ice Breakers Frost mints, visit
