Recently I was offered the opportunity to check our a new Goosberry Patch cookbook – 101 Hearty Recipes. I was delighted with the first 101 Recipes cookbook that I checked out recently so I simply had to accept.

MY THOUGHTS
I received a copy of 101 Hearty Recipes. Chapters include Fun & Filling, Speedy & Satisfying, Casual & Comforting, and Baked & Buttery. Recipes are easy to understand and call for ordinary ingredients that can be found in most kitchens. I love that every recipe is accompanied by a color photo! Why? Because I like knowing what the dish I m attempting is supposed to look like. So far I’ve tried two recipes – Speedy Goulash and Bowties & Blush. The other recipes that I’m most looking forward to trying are Ranch Chicken Pizza, Brown Sugar Barbecue Sandwiches, Farmhouse Chicken Bake, Schinken Nudeln, and Sweet Strawberry Bread. As previously mentioned, the spiral binding of this series of cookbooks makes them so easy to use. The only thing keeping this cookbook from being absolutely perfect for me is that the cooking and prep times aren’t listed. I find that it’s so helpful to easily see those when I’m deciding what recipe I want to try.
