Dove Ultimate Go Sleeveless Deodorant

It’s summer. That means short sleeves, or for some people, going sleeveless. I’ve never been one to go sleeveless much, I think underarms are kind of gross. Why? Because they can be hairy and bumpy and dried elephant skin looking. I just don’t want to see that, and I surely don’t want people to see me having it. That’s the thinking I’ve had for many years now. Apparently I’m not alone, as a study of a pool of 534 women aged 18-64 conducted by Unilever showed that almost 100 percent of those women thought of their underarms as unattractive, and that over half of those women said the condition of their underarms affected their wardrobe choices.

As the most caring line of invisible solids by Dove, the Ultimate go sleeveless Collection provides outstanding skincare with the Dove Ultimate tri-moisturizing system. This unique-to-Dove skincare system includes an occlusive layer, humectant and nourishing moisturizers, which together prevent moisture loss. These nourishing moisturizers contain vitamins E & F from natural sunflower oil, known to care for and condition delicate underarm skin. In addition to this exclusive tri-moisturizing system, the Ultimate go sleeveless formula also contains Dove 1/4 Translucent Moisturizers, which help to prevent the formation of white marks on clothing. The Dove Ultimate go sleeveless collection, available in these formulas, provides 24-hours of odor and wetness protection.

Over the years I’ve tried a lot of products, including some deodorants. Dove has always been my favorite “premium” deodorant, and their latest product, Dove Ultimate Go Sleeveless, is hands down my favorite. I received a sample of the Dove Ultimate Go Sleeveless Deodorant in the Pearl Finish. It smells nice, soft but enough to notice. My underarms are still smooth and they have never felt softer. This deodorant looks white but goes on invisible. In the past I’ve tried some other invisible deodorants and I felt they did not protect as well but that wasn’t the case with this one.

Dove Go Sleeveless recently partnered with Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr and invited women everywhere to design their own sleeveless top as a part of the go Sleeveless Fashion Challenge, in which the winner received a New York City shopping trip with Jessica Szohr worth $5,000. You can view the winner’s design and a gallery containing the rest of the designs on Dove’s Facebook page.

I love Dove deodorant. One of the nice things about aging is that hair doesn’t grow much in many places other than the undesirable chiny chin chin.
