REVIEW – Discovery Kids Magnetic Tile Set

The Discovery Kids Magnetic Tile Set is part of the Discover Kids 2013 Product Line and is sure to become one of your little one’s favorite gifts this year. The set comes with a total of 24 magnetic pieces, 12 squares and 12 triangles, and endless possibilities for building custom 3D models easily and quickly. Recommended for ages 4&up, even the smallest hands will get a kick out of the tiles sticking to each other with magnets.

The set includes a book with several ideas to get your child’s creative juices flowing. Once he gets the idea, he’ll be able to master his own creations in no time. I used the book’s idea of a fish, put together in just a few seconds, to show how easily something can be put together:

However, I love that it can be challenging as well when your child decides he wants to create something of his own. These basic geometric shapes will have him thinking about all the different ways he can put squares and triangles together to create anything he wants! And, you can even combine sets for even more endless possibilities.
