Recently I was offered the opportunity to review Zippies, a new collectible product.

Zippies Logo

New Zippies, “the pals that hang around,” are becoming the nation’s next kids’ craze. These round, flexible, characters save parents headaches by helping children to identify their things by simply clipping them onto any belonging — water Brunobottles, lunch boxes, luggage, backpacks, jackets, and even bicycles. Each collectible Zippies ID tag features a different character on one side with a place for contact information on the other. This allows parents to rest assured that emergency contact information (last name and parent’s phone number) is with their child at all times. Zippies, the solution to ending kids’ arguments about what belongs to whom, save parents aggravation and stress. Zippies can even help prevent the spread of germs by identifying water bottles and teach children the importance of being responsible for personal belongings.

Zippies Collection

I received samples of the Zippies Series #1 Limited Edition collection. As the mother of a child who is developmentally delayed I am always interested to see products that will help my child identify his belongings.

Zippies are very cute. The character disc itself is colorful and a bit larger than a quarter. This one is Kayla, my personal favorite.

Zippies Size

The product is sturdy, as is the tether that you attach to to your child’s belongings. On the back of the disc is a place to write your name and phone number. I like that Zippies are colorful and easy to spot. They’d be great not just for kids belongings but also for water bottles, lunchboxes, backpacks, pocketbooks, luggage and even clothing. These would make a nice stocking stuffer at the holidays, and even be a neat way to tag a gift as opposed to a stick on gift tag.

Available in 10 different characters, Zippies sell for $4.98 each or $39.99 for the entire limited-edition first series. They can be ordered online at and found at select retailers.
