I love hearing from my readers. The giveaways are great but I’d really like to get to know more of you on a personal level so I’m asking a favor. I’d like to ask my readers to answer an easy question. Please. There is no prize and no bonus entries (unless you have two homes, LOL) – this is just for conversation. If it works well we can try it weekly. Here goes.
Where do you live?
Not the specific address or anything, I’m not going to stalk you. Tell me as much or as little as you like.
I live in Ocean County, New Jersey. It’s sort of in the middle of the state on the Northeast side. Jersey residents often call where I live “down the shore”. The bay is right down the street. The ocean is ten minutes away. I consider our community suburban. We’re a little over an hour from both New York City and Philadelphia.

Hi Huguette!
I traveled to Montreal when I was a teenager to swim in the Olympic pool. It struck me as cold. Sadly I didn;t take the time back then, being so young, to actually look at the city to form an impression. I'd like to go back sometime with my family now. Have you ever been to the states?

Lorie,
You should let Mom know you;re in Celebration, she had looked into buying there at one point I think, before the DVD. I do know where it is, we drove around during one visit to WDW.

Val, I'm in Celebration, FL -- just outside Disney World (I'm sure your mom knows where that is). It is a community originally designed by Walt himself (now it is not exactly what he would have wanted, but not too close). It is a community within Kissimmee that is styled around 1940's architecture. It is really quite pretty, but quite restrictive with regard to what you can do with your home and property. That has a lot of pluses, but some drawbacks also. If you are interested in learning about the town... take a look here:

I was born in Indy, lived in Vegas for 12 years, now I live in Idaho. I love it - 4 seasons, but no humidity, only 13" of rain a year (compared to 26" on Indy and about 4" in Vegas) and not much snow (unlike most people's perception of Idaho) - it's perfect. Could I live in the mountains where the weather is more volatile? No - I like my valley weather! :)
