I received a Kohl’s gift card to facilitate my purchase of this set. Please note that, as always, any personal opinions reflected in this post are my own and have not been influenced by the sponsor in any way.

We had some excitement here at the homestead. Saturday, in the midst of the bowling, trick-or-treating, giving out candy and errands, a large box arrived. That box contained…. wait for it…. new pots and pans! I am very excited about this.
I ordered a 12-piece set of Farberware purECOok Nonstick Ceramic Cookware from Kohl’s. I ordered online and had it delivered to my house.
The set comes with the following pieces:
- 8-in. skillet
- 9 1/2-in. skillet
- 1-qt. covered saucepan
- 2-qt. covered saucepan
- 3-qt. covered saute pan
- Slotted spatula
- Slotted spoon
- Solid spoon

I’ve been using non-stick pans for a good number of years now. I had a pot and a pan that weren’t non-stick. Let’s just say they died an ugly death. I’ve never had ceramic cookware before. I’m really excited by how pretty this set is.
The set’s nonstick ceramic is PFOA- and PTFE-free, to deliver pure nonstick performance without any harmful chemicals. These pieces can go from the stovetop or oven to the table, so you want them to look good. And look good they do. I really like the look of the set, which I got in a soft gray color. It is also available in aqua and purple.
I didn’t notice until I was taking the set out of the box that the handles are heat-resistant. I know many folks that will appreciate the convenience that comes from the fact that the set is dishwasher safe. And, occasionally klutzy me really likes that the set includes shatter-resistant glass lids, which also serve to lock in heat, moisture and flavor. And the bottom. To help ensure that your food doesn’t stick while you’re trying to serve it, the pan has a unique quilted surface to boost food release even further.
Here’s a brief video of the unboxing of the set.
Be sure to check back in about a week, when I’ll be sharing my thoughts on using the Farberware purECOok Nonstick Ceramic Cookware. I can’t wait to test out this ceramic cookware. I’ll be putting the set through its paces over the next few days. I’ve planned a number of meals and am planning to cook all of them in the new pots and pans. And, I’ll be giving a set away!
